AlmaVia of Union City will rely on generous financial gifts from its donors. AlmaVia has a charitable care policy that provides financial assistance to older adults who have depleted their resources. As our population ages, AlmaVia will face an even greater challenge to meet the charitable care needs of its residents. We continue to reach out to the community to ensure that we will be able to continue our mission into the future.
People and businesses give us financial donations for a number of reasons:
- We are a nonprofit, faith-centered, non-sectarian community committed to the mission of our sponsors, the Sisters of Mercy and the Sierra Pacific Synod.
- We provide valuable care and service to seniors throughout California.
- The financial donations go directly to programs that serve the elderly.
Your donation can be unrestricted or designated to one of the following services:
- Charitable Care Fund
- Capital Improvement Fund
- AlmaVia Program Development Fund.
You can contribute by providing current gifts, such as cash, stocks or property. Or you may wish to provide a deferred gift in the form of a charitable gift annuity, a charitable remainder trust, bequest or any number of planned giving programs which your financial advisor may suggest. These programs can make the most efficient use of your funds and are usually designed to minimize tax consequences.
